well basically - every tom/dick/harry cause everybody knows pio around donkey yrs & have a good general rep & mainly cause it fairly cheap !
I like a dumbo & mainly it was an impatient impulse buy ,hurry & buy 2
U really don't see much subs brands in a 1/2 decent audio shop , u might see a few RF P series subs & a few kicker if u lucky .
Did u ever go down & check Triple R ? - thats the only store i know that has alot of variety of brands like Pio/Premier/kicker/RF/Mmats/Jbl/PowerBass & LOTS of door speaker brands - brands like francis fashions -lol
There's also Sound & Security in Valpark - go check it out , JL/Orion/PPI/Alpine/Clarion/Directed/Pio/Premier - really good stuff but walk with 2/3 mths pay 2 buy anything -LOL
I heard Steve's in sa-wah got in a few new good items too .........
cool,i usually go to my local variety store for most of my stuff....lol,ill go check them out.Today i listened to my sub reasonably loud and ur right it sounds like f.......n toooootttssss.i didnt realise before cause i was only puttin about 100max now ah puttin bout 200max....1/2 power, and it soundin like sh1t already.
"i usually go to my local variety store" - u mean them Piper or what !? -
how proudly we post 4 all 2 read about our SHIDDY SUB -lol
the thing is it sounds rather stiff/plasticky like if your actually pressing down the cone & u get that annoyimg "blam, blam, blam" bass instead of a good resonating BOOM - sounding silly here but thats the best choice of words i could think of -lol.....
lol rovin..it have a electronics/funiture/appliance/all cina sh1t store in arima de na so ah des call it variety store they does buy stuff from away to sell.i even saw the new pioneer deck the like 5000 dolla 1 so das where ah des buy meh stuff.
hmm circuit city used to sell infinty subs...not sure anymore...some lower end (references i think) ones but I would recommend some infinitys to someone on a SQ budget anyday.
hey rovin you know up until now i didnt realise that there were different types of bass at the same freq, cause look at the pio its 18-500hz and alpines 28-1khz the pio was supposed to hit lower but doesnt.Man i hate blasted low quality products!!it just f*&^s up everything.
NE$ - actually Alpine Rs are 25hz-500hz , i have the manual right in front of me now .
Just simply watching those 2 nos from those 2 subs - the average joe would say that the pio will be the better sub , but we both now know alot better ,right !
I think the Pio sub is good 4 PA systems like in front of stores & like them music carts where all is concerned about is just 2 hear it loud ....
Hmm my friend has lightening audio subs...they blow. Other friend has american pro subs..lol the center of the sub lights up when they hit and yeah they both sound like a pile of $H1t

I agree on the first two. Acutally though for the price bazooka subs arent too bad. I have had had experiences with quite a number of bazooka products. No its not the best, but it shouldnt be in the list of the crappiest stuff.
