I want to put a power switch for my amp somewhere on my dash. is it possible to just put the switch in line with the remote wire, or does it need to be on the actual power cable from the battery?
Yeah you can just put a switch in line with the remote wire. The amp will still only switch on though when the device the remote wire is connected to is on.
