I want to get these diamond audio component speakers for my tuck they are D661a. First are they any good? Will I have to cut holes for the tweeters? How hard are the speakers to intall?
haven't heard them but i hear diamond speakers are pretty good. usually hear about the Hex models though. its always best to find a way to listen before buying though to see if they fit your tastes. you will have to cut holes, screw into the dash or something to install the tweeters. or fab up some kind of "braxial" bracket to put everything in the stock location. not too hard, just a lot of wires to run around, amp/hu to crossover input for each side, tweeter wire from crossover to each side and woofer wire from crossover to each side. and positioning the tweeter to where it sounds best can take some time. double sided tape helps.
