All I will have to do is get a dist. block and run the 4 guage to it and then branch that off to 4 gauge and 8 gauge for the amps? Then just have 2 pairs of RCA's running back etc. Do you have to connect the amps any other special way? |
Silver Member Username: TheelfkeeperStockbridge, GA USA Post Number: 519 Registered: Feb-05 | yeah, i'd keep 4 AWG out of the dist block too, bigger the better, can't ever over do wireing. i tried 8AWG with my JL 300/2, like a 3 foot run and had to change to 4, kept shutting off. yes, 2 runs of RCA's, one for subs and one for speakers i assume. some amps have an output RCA connection, but you wouldn't have any control from your HU if you did that. also, make sure your existing power wire can handle the additional amperage you are adding to it. www.the12volt.com has a guide. |
