my car is starting up slow and i dont know why...

I turn the ignition and it sounds like it is turning over alright but it takes around 4 seconds for the car to actually start. I have a brand new battery in the car also...

if i ran it for a minute or so and i turned the car off, and waited even an hour or longer, it will start up right away.

what could be the problem?????

Does it sputter when you drive it? It could be the fuel pump going out. If it is, get it replaced right away or it could cause your engine to go next.

Maybe an O2 sensor or something with the EGR valve. But most likely a fuel filter or maybe they put a bad pump in it (Carter pumps suck...). I'd take it in.... There's a lot of things that could go bad...
