Hey, i just recently installed a new system in my car, which included 2 6x9" pioneer speakers in the rear. i have a problem with them though, sometimes my left speaker starts to make this low rattle noise that drives me insane. I can temporarily stop the noise by applying a bit of pressure onto the inside of the speaker, but it always comes back.

Any ideas on what this is or how i can fix it? cheers

Is the sound coming from the speaker rattling against whatever it's mounted to or something mechanical on the speaker itself?

I'd say its coming from inside the speaker itself, because when i stop the sound temporarily im putting pressure on something inside the speaker.

i dont know if you can drop a voice coil in a 6x9 but if its possible thats what it sounds like cause i dropped the voice coil in my 10 and it wont even work unless i put pressure on it
