Amp/Sub for '94 Mustang GT convertible

I just bought a '94 Mustang GT convertible, and it has a CDA-7965 Alpine CD unit in it already, so that's a bit of a plus. There is nothing else with it, though - it is connected to the sorry factory 2 front and 2 rear speakers (NOT Mach 460, but the other sorry speakers).

I want to get as inexpensive a subwoofer and amp that I can. My brother has 2 component Clarion 5-1/4"s that I'm going to buy from him to probably put in the front, but I'd like to put two more speakers in the back plus a sub. What are you expert guys' opinions on where to go from here? Please understand I don't want to spend a lot of money - if I can get away with an amp to power one or two subs, that's fine. I don't want to win any awards with it - I just want it to sound good when I'm going to work. It's also a convertible, so I may end up putting the subs in a box in the back seat.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

if you want the cheapest thing you can find, just go find the cheapest thing you can and buy it.
It's going to sound like two cats f**king, but hey, you get what you pay for.

I'm not wanting the cheapest thing I can find... I'm legitimately trying to find out what is good economically.

ok the alpine is a good start for a source
look at CDT for component speakers
www.thezeb.com
excellent stuff, and cheaper than other equal quality stuff like Infinity or JL
for subs, look at Kicker CompVR subs
www.etronics.com
pretty cheap, hit hard, and accurate.
amps, try JBL BP series for subs, and P series for a 4 channel for the CDTs.
also etronics.com
and for power distro
www.knukonceptz.com
should come out fairly cheap and very nice
