no if it is used contact dei-directed electronics tell them -something like the light flash dont work-tell them you were an installer at circuit city or best buy-lost receit-want to get unit fixed-they will give you a refurb unit also tell them u will pay for new wiring harness-will cost u about 30 with shipping and you will get new system--also remember to send both old remotes--you will get all new stuff--
