hey zac in one of the other threads you were talking about how reliable DD is, and how the tinsel leads never burn, anyhow i was just wondering how would Shocker Audio compare to DD in terms of quality.
Dustin, personally i've never owned any shocker woofers. From what I gather the DD's are a bit more efficient and will also thermally handle high power burps better than the shockers. I've heard this from a few different competitors.
However, as for the efficiancy comment, take that with a grain of salt considering most of the comparisons were based on simple "drop in" results. As we both know, certain woofers like certain encolsures. I would imagine anybody looking for a kick azz spl woofer would be more than happy going with the shockers. I also hear the guys over at shocker are real stand up people who truely care about thier competitor and customer.
