If your considering kicker solox, get a 18" RE MT from www.reaudio.com. It's just a better overall sub(build quality, reliability..)

if your looking for everyday driving i would not get it. its made to be loud and does not have any sound quality. If you really wanted to get it though u have to get an amp with at least 2500rms or higher to push it.

I noticed you have a 1994 lincoln town car. I hope you have/are planning to replace the alternator with a high output one(s), cuz that sub correctly powered will eat a stock alternator like a fat man on a cupcake lol

yeah what are you looking for? strait SPL? or SPL with some sq, cuz there are other subs that are ridiculously loud that don't need 2500+ watts to push efficiently
