Hey everyone, Im 17 and just started getting into systems of my own : )

I need some help...I want to run 2=12" subs that are dual 4 ohms each,

I have a 500w amp 4 ohm brided X 1 channel,

I want to have it so each sub has 500w is that possible

so if wire those 2= 12" subs do I wire them in series or parallel and will the amp take it on the 1 bridged channel??

will both subs be running 500W????

I basically have limited money with 1 amp and 2 subs and I want the most bass for what I have now

later more power will come but for now all im working w/ is a 500w RF amp

so would I be better off wiring both of the sub to the amp or just 1 of the subs for the most bass???

thanks everyone for any help because I sure need it!! lol

sls, the amp will put ot 500W total, splitting the power between the two subs. Each sub will get 250W each.

If the 500W is at 4ohms, you will need to get 2 8ohm subs like some Kicker Comps or JL W0s.
You can also use two dual 4ohm subs that take 200-250w RMS. I would suggest some RE 12s (REAUDIO.COM) maybe some Memphis 15-PR124D (all subs were 12s).

You could also get a better single 12 like a Eclipse Alum. DVC 2ohm or a Phoenix Gold Xenon 12D2 or Ti series. a Kicker CompVR, Alpine TypeR, Diamond CM312D2.

These are just basic ideas. I'm sure there much more you can work with.
