i know the recommended farad per wattage ratio.. but im working in a tight space and i wondered if adding any sort of capacitor like a .5F to a 1500rms system would prove some usefullness or would it be more of a hinderence? I already have a HO Alt so i got a decent flow of juice coming.. but let me know your thoughts.. the cap im looking at is the Harrison Labs .5F which is only 2.5 x 4.5.

Not really good or bad. It's not gonna hurt anything IF your electrical system is up to par. You don't really need them either.

.5F doesn't cut it. You either get 2F capacitor or nothing. Just a waste of space.
