i just wanna know what would be better???

i have a jbl bp600.1 amp, i wana get either a L712, brahma 10, or 2 compvr 10's...

i would put the L7 or the brama in a vented box and the compvr's in .74 cu ft sealed ones...what knida SPL would each give me????

and would 600 watts even touch the ability of the brahma????

brahma and the compvr's will have the best SQ, the l7 will have the best SPL, go with what you'd like, and if you'd want SQ, i'd personally go with 2 subs rather than 1 and so in your setup that would be the compvr's

i think the brahma would have best SPL and SQ..i would definately go with the 10 inch brahma

28mm 1 way XMAX on a 10 inch sub is absolutely insane and thats what the brahma can give you

theres a little 10 inch brahma pounding away, just a little bit to show you what those little buggers can do

i really want a pair of brahmas to put under the seat of my ext. cab truck w/ .74 cuft each, but i dont know if a pair of JBL BP 600.1 amps would even touch their ability....

it looks like each one could handle a KX1200.1!!!

i have one BP600.1 and i would buy another if i get the Brahmas....would they pound w/ 600 watts each????? or would that be a waste of a good sub??? and how much louder would the brahmas be than my L712 in the sealed box w/ one BP600.1 on it???

wait.. you already HAVE an L7?

600 watts to a brahma would be fine.. it'd still hit hard, etc.. and the brahmas would have the best Sq out of those 3.. would it touch the POTENTIAL PERFORMANCE ABILITY of the sub? no.. but i'm sure you would be satisfied..

if you have it in a large sealed box 600w may be all the brahma needs to reach its limits

remember tim, its all in the box...

look at the adire power handling page
http://adireaudio.com/mobile_audio/drivers/brahma_power_handling.htm

it shows you that with a .87 cubic foot sealed box, you only need 700 watts to reach the limits of the brahma 10

and keep in mind that that 10 inch sub has 28mm xmax 1 way and thats EXTREMELY huge throw for a 10 inch sub so you will get alot more out of this 10 than almost any other around

i like to think of it as 50% box/set up, 30% driver, 20% other stuff..
