what is the difference between an mono-block amp and 1x channel amp? What should be better for 2x400rms subs?? an 4xchannel 1xchannel or mono-block??

Mono block or 1x channel is the same.
picking a 2 channel amp or a mono amp is depending how you're going to wire your sub. Recommend a mono amp to run your sub, you will get most power out of it.
