Got 2 Vmax12SVC's, 4ohms and 300 rms watts each. Need around 600 rms at 2ohms out of an amp. Looking ebay for around $200-$225. Looks like the Kenwood Excelon 811D matches pretty good, but am having problems finding other alternatives. Also considered the Alpine M605-MRD, but watts don't match that closely. Don't want to overlook the "perfect amp" for my setup only to find out about it later. Thanks!
Alpine amps seem to be the consensus choice over Kenwood according to what I have read. Would the M605-MRD be enough power? Are there any others that would be a more appropriate match for the subs? Looking for quality deep bass sound and don't want to throw something together that doesn't match or won't last. Thanks.
If you time it right you can get a Rockford Fosgate p6001 in that range. I was just watching one a few days ago that ended at $153us plus $20 shipping.
