Kicker's square sub was a flaw to start. Then they spend tons of money trying to correct it. It still is a flaw. At high volume, the corners will crack. You can experiment it yourself. Get a square paper and pull from the centre. The edges will rip. Now try the same with a circle. Notice how it resists tearing? I'm just using simple example to illustrate.
