I'm looking at a new hu and I have 4 choices could you guys plz help me narrow it down to a one. My choices the Pioneer Premier DEH-P8MP, the Pioneer DEH-P7700MP, the Alpine CDA-9830, and the Alpine CDA-9851. My price range is around 270-280 if you have any other suggestions. Thx
Interesting selection, if you're looking for features, get the Pioneer DEH-P8MP If you're looking for reliability, the Alpine CDA-9851 would be a great choice.

The Alpine 9853 is $20. more than the other Alpine you listed and it gives a whole lot more bang for the buck. It will smoke the Pioneer models you listed for SQ and Quality. The Pionner 860 is better than all the Alpines but cost more.
I've owned both for some time now.(860&9815=same as the 9853 as far as DSP's and output stage(SQ).
