After having my 1st stereo Stolen, just tryed installing my own in my 1977 Nova. They took the wire harness so we are hard wireing it. when the Car is turned on the Display, EQ , and the SW buttons all flash but the stereo (DEH-P7700MP) won't turn on.. Anyone know what this means? Appericiate any comments.. Thank you .

Randell, what you need to do is hook up the red and black wires from your new stereo to the positive terminal on your battery, and tape together all the other wires on your stereo in a big bunch, and then tape them all to your head, and then write back here.
We will have no better idea of what the hell your question is then now, but at least we know you have wires taped to your head so we can get a better perspective of your intellect.
