Little Help?

I have an alpine deck (CDA-9825) and i just got an amp and a sub. Its all hooked up, deck-rca's-amp-sub. The sub works, but its really quiet. when i fiddle around with the settings on the deck and get the deck's amp powered off, the sub works great, but my speakers are powered by the deck. Any ideas on how to get my deck to only power my speakers, while my amp powers the sub?

well unless you ran wires from your amp to power your speakers then it should only be powering your sub. There should be 3 rca outputs on that deck and they will be labeled "Front", "Rear", and "Sub-W" i believe or something to that nature. Make sure your rcas going to your amp are hooked into the "Sub-W".

I'm sure they're in the right spot, i think its something with the deck, if i turn the decks built in amp off, then the sub works excellent, but, then i dont have power to my speakers.
