I take it you never got a hold of that guy in here that was selling one huh? I remember giving you that link. He was selling it for like 285 with shipping if I remember right. That is a GOOD price. Too bad.

oh i dont have one i sold mine a few months i was just saying i could get you one. if you arent able to find one ill look around a bit and see what i can find. you should also look into the 81000D they are basicallt the same except i think it doesnt have a compression circuit.

right ok, what effect does a compression circuit have on amps then?

its only use is to keep the amp from clipping but it hinders output alot. And actually i just checked on it does have the compression circuit but you can turn it off. Id look futher into it to find what the small insignificant difference is but i dont have the time right now

powerwise its the difference of a few hundred watts. Though as Ron stated it does make quite a difference, and it's def. noticeable imo.

bascially i need some thing to power two subs, they svc 650rms, 4ohm's

i like mtx now, i want one of there amps.

i can either have two amps that will give 650rms each at 4ohm's

or

get one amp that will give 1300rms at 2ohms

the 1501d's are from 03 and 81000d 02. Every amp will lose it's value after you've used it.

well those two amps may just barely meet the rms power you are looking for but only at 14.4 volts. if you are running a HO alternator it will be fine but even if you dont and you dont clip the amp the life of your subs will be extended.
just look around if you cant find one ill take my chances at it.

lol, just checked out that site, 676 pounds that is 1222 dollars!!! way too much i might even consider used, if there is no mechanical problems with the amp.
