Hey Glasswolf ???

I'm planning on purchasing a sealed enclosure for three 12 inch subs. I keep seeing two different kind of sealed enclosures. One type is the enclosure has seperate chambers so all the subs have their own chamber of 1.5 cubic feet. The other type of enclosure is where the chambers are open and all the subs share the same chamber and air space. My question is which type of sealed enclosure will be louder and is there any benefit of one or the other? Any advice you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

there's really no difference in performance between the two, but personally I like to use separated chambers for multiple subs just in case one channel or sub fails, then the other sub(s) is/are unaffected.
if you have all 3 subs sharing one chamber, and one sub fails, it's not only harder to recognize this, and find which sub it is causing the problems, but the one sub ceasing to function will affect the sound of the other two adversely.
