If your wiring, and gains are corect, you shouldn't have a problem with that combo. The 1000/1 is a perfect match for that sub.

i have had it checked by tons of people and i even sent the amp back and jl said it was fine , that happens with the sub is it will play grate for about 20 min then the amp will go in to protect mode and the sub will play weaker and weaker and all the wiring is cool.
