well i have 2 Pioneer 250w max 60w norm. 6X9's in my car and the wiring that came origionally with the car is horrible. my right rear wiring to the 6X9 is messed up so i ran the 2 rear speakers into the rear left channel...well i have an Alpine 45w X 4 channel HU. i've noticed some cracking from the rear speakers. how is this so? bad connection? how can the speakers be blown if they're not even getting to RMS wattage? please help...i don't know what's wrong and i payed quite a bit of cash for them.heh.

At what volume limit are you hearing the cracking? When you have your headunit turned up nearly all the way, you're still going to get harmonic distortion from the amp in the headunit...
