How to wire a 4 ohm sub into a 2 ohm load

mike scott New member Username: Mike13 Post Number: 2 Registered: May-05	Posted on Sunday, May 22, 2005 - 20:09 GMT i am getting a orion h2 15.4 and i have a 1600 watt sony mono amp i know not near the best but i have to work with what i have for now but how do i get a 2 ohm load out of this sub? thank you let me know. also what does everyone think of the orion h2 15.4 ive never messed with one thanks

Trevor Mannson New member Username: Traymannspl Trenton, Mo USA Post Number: 8 Registered: May-05	Posted on Monday, May 23, 2005 - 16:14 GMT there you go man this way of wireing at 1 ohm should allow you to push more watts out of your amp if it is 1ohm stable if not the this should work if 2 ohm stablewire each seprate not together as in first pic but you know that wireing them each into 2 ohms you will suck more power from your amp and it want hit as hard.good luck.
