Hi guys, I just bought a 2003 Sunfire and I want to put subs in it. I saw where someone used one 15" where the spare tire goes and it looked really nice while still leaving a trunk. (no Idea how it sounded) I have 2 Soundstream SPL voice coil 12's now which have jared my teeth for years in a 91 firebird with rear fireing box. I have a Kenwood KDC-X759 reciever, one set of 6x9 Kickers for the rear. a PPI PC2600 to drive the subs. Another large amp (Orion) to drive the 6x9's. Any suggestions as to what way I should go with the subs in this limited space? Should I just use one 12? I would like to save the trunk space but I really like my bass.

You have more room in a sunfire then you did on a firebird. why not go why 2 12'?

Well, the firebird had a "trunk" space in the back that dipped very deep. I had a box made with that space utilized. I really want to keep with the 2 12". I guess I need to go and actually consult a pro.
