I have 2 JL12w6v2 in a prowedge box in my f250 extended cab truck. Is there a +/- to facing them forward or facing them towards the back? my bench seat folds into a bed anyway so the subs are right at my mid back level. I cant seem to tell an audible difference either way.... and let me throw this out there too, im running a RF T10001 in 4ohm right now, its pushing a total of 693W (mono) to both subs, I can run it in a 1 ohm load but it puts out 1655W, which is a little much I think (the JLs are rated at 400W a sub), is there a way to get more power to my subs SAFELY, without blowing them (ie. REALLY LOW gain setting??)
