I recently purchased a BMW 525i with this equipment in it. The Sony head unit seems to work fine, but the Clarion changer does not appear to have power or function. A cable is connected to the Clarion changer, but I cannot verify that the cable is also connected to the head unit. Can these two work together, or did the previous owner just use the Sony CDX-F5700 as a standalone player?
thats waht happened. Im pertty sure you can not mix cd-changer and head unit.I alred tried that with a car that i bought it had a stock radio and a alpine cd-changer i put a pioneer head unit and i could not use the cdchanger so i sold it.
