Ok i think im just going to keep my subs and get a new amp. what amp would be best for 2 eclipse aluminum 12's. they are 450rms, dual 2 ohm voice coils. i think maybe a 1000x1 @ 1 ohm amp would be good but let me get some opinions.

I whould start on ebay and look for a Orion HCCA 250g4 amp or the XTR series amps by Orion that puts out 1000 watts rms.

I whould also look on ebay for a Crossfire VR1000D

This amp can do 1000 X 1 @ 1ohm tested at 12.5 volts.

Birth Sheet has it tested at 1132 rms

I have seen them go under $300

All CrossFire amplifiers are rated at 12.5 volts; however most automobiles maintain 13.8 to 14.4 volts while running. Due to there unregulated power supplies you can expect a 15% - 20% increase in power from 13.8 - 14.4 volts out of all CrossFire amplifiers.
