MTX made a huge sub thats like 5000watts rms. in the 30"s

No, I'm pretty sure he's talking about the audiobahn. It has a magnet that is like 640oz, and is like 3000/5000 watt's.

its not worth it to get a woofer that big and try to strap amps to get the wattage to push it. plus it would sound really bad.
i think the only reason someone would get one is to be able to say they have a 30something inch sub.

audiobahn and mtx make subs that big, i don't know of anyone else that does.

I'm pretty sure that it will get loud though... I bet it sounds funny though. I know that MTX makes the 22in sub, but they make bigger?

I would love to have that sub... but there is no fu*king way I would pay that much for 1 sub.

There's quite a few other huge woofers out there actually. Clarion has a 24, or 26", something in that area. There's a couple not well-known companies that make a sub in the 20's.

And then there's Richard's 100 inch sub in the back of a bread truck, and then there's the worlds biggest "Horn Room" - a whole room the size of a house that becomes essentially one giant speaker.
