Wiring mono for 2 ohms?

Bronze Member Username: CrusacargenCA US Post Number: 14 Registered: Feb-05 | i know this sounds silly but im trying to wire my mono amp for 2 ohms. I am running 2 4-ohm subs to it. I think the way to to dit is by wiring pos of each speaker to pos on amp but not sure cuz someone told me to wire it another way. Please help |

WC Unregistered guest | Yes, connect the poss from the sub to the amp amn the neg to the neg to the amp, since mono amps are 1 channel, stack the 2 poss and the 2 neg on the amp. |

New member Username: ShocksydePost Number: 7 Registered: Apr-05 | i have a dual voice coil 4-ohm sub and have it wired like they say above and it presents a 2 ohm load. pos of each sub to pos on amp, neg on each sub to neg on amp. done. |

I dont like runnin multiple wires into one connection on an amp. Lazy way to do it. And less connection. Unless you solder them together.  |
