Can somebody please advise me, i have 1x Kicker L7,old version and im looking for an amp to drive this woofer,it is
750 rms,1500 watt peak. Im considering buying this Rockford Fosgate Power T10001 1000 watts Amp or the Kicker either
the Kx 600.1 or Kx 1200.1-The Rockfor specs are • Channels 1
• 500 W x 1 @ 4 Ohms RMS
• 750 W x 1 @ 2 Ohms RMS
• 1000 W x 1 @ 1 Ohms RMS
• Total power 1000 Watts
• Bridgeable Master Sync
• Power Sync
• (bd-sync2)
• Crossover LP 32-250Hz 24dB per Octave
• Subsonic Filter 28Hz
• Tone controls Bass Control
• 0 to 18 dB @ 35-70 Hz
• Signal input Low level -
• Type - RCA(pr)
• Line output 1 RCA(pr)
• Phase control 0/180 degrees
• Power input Connector - Block
• Wire gauge - 1/0 AWG
• Speaker output Block
• Power supply topology
• Output topology
• Display
• Heatsink Type -Cast
• Cooling -Fan Cooled
• Protection
• Remote control Included
• Type - Wired
• Controls - Bass
• Class B/D
• Marine use
• Specifications
• Stereo/Mix mono
• Frequency response 20 to 300 Hz +/- .5 dB
• Dimensions 2.6 X 12.8 X 18 (inches)
I think this would be a perfect match for the woofer as it is 750x1 @ 2ohm stable whereas the Kicker kx 600.1 is only 600x1 at 2ohm stable
And the Kx 1200.1 is 1200x1 at 1ohm stable which will over power this woofer,im I right in buying the Rockford amp with a Rockford Fosgate CPCD10-03 - 1 Farad Digital Capacitor? Please advise!!

What ohm is the l7?
That Rf amp is by far the best. The power line from Rockford is really great, my favorite line of amp's.

4 ohm dvc or svc? If it is 4 ohm svc, you'll need another sub to get a 2 ohm load or a, bigger amp.

Oh ya, I forgot that you're dumba$$ screwed that perfectly good amp up!:-) jkjk Do you know how long it will be befor you get it back?
Lol, you're powering you're sub with the same amp I'm powering my speakers with, that should tell you something.:-)
Well, if it is 4 ohm dvc, it should say that you can wire it eather to a 2 ohm load, or 8 ohm. Eather way, as long as it can be wired to 2 ohm's, it will match perfect.

ha ha ha, yeah i know im a dumba$$, i should be gettin it back ANY day now, i expected it yesterday, but hopefully it comes in today. Im dyin. I missed a sound comp and show comp because of that thing. And i couldve won both. At the sound comp, the highest they hit was 143db or sumthin,no higher. And i didnt show, cause it looks funny with the non-matching chrome p4004 sittin there ha ha ha(no offense) so it sucked. I was irritated. Im also Dynamating the whole entire car, roof,doors,floor,hatch,everything...its runin about $450 installed, so i guess it isnt bad.

Nonchrome? I don't know about the one you are using, but both of my amps have the chrome shroud.
