It is hard to say what hits good in you're system. Every system sounds different!
Some might sound good with low frequencys, or the high bass!
Like three 6 mafia's "late night tip" sounds great in my system, but in this other guy's system, 2 l5's, it sounded like crap!

If you want to test the limits of your bass... try Diesel Boy, one of his cds will have more than enough for even the biggest systems.

David A has it right. most drum&bass cd's have sick bass that is also really good to test the SQ of your subs. diesel is good, and try AK1200 or aphrodite, their cd's are easy to come by. if you can find any cd compilations on the metalheadz label the bass is just WICKED. or, if you want, i'll send you some *ahem* DJ Strode drum&bass mix cd's.

as for more mainstream stuff, i remember brass monkey by the beastie boys hitting quite hard, albeit a rather simple monotone. and there's a track on master p's "ghetto D" (one of the tracks towards the end, i haven't heard it in a while) that hits super low in a couple spots. but i can't listen to that lil jon crap so i don't really know how it compares, but i know it pounds

Tracy's right, some AK 1200 also will test your sub's strength.... and the master p song is "Burbons and Lacs" off of Ghetto D... it hits HARD
