I saw some guy on this forum is running two subs to one sub( 1 per coil). is this necessary, i have always ran 1 amp no matter the coils.

for example a RE MT, it comes in QVC so you can run 4 amps to that one sub

ya i didnt think it was needed i was just wondering. no matter the amount of coils you just need one sub that pushed the total rms for the sub right?

ya one big amp works, i would prefer also, it would be hard to get all the settings on the other amps exactly the same for more then one.

running multiple amps on one sub is strictly done for SPL. for most people it's never needed.
