Gold Member Username: SubfanaticWalton, Ky Post Number: 2118 Registered: Dec-04 | hmm, that sounds nice, any cahcne yo know where i can find dimensions for this, or you could help me with it, im horrible with boxes |
Gold Member Username: GlasswolfNorthWest, Michigan USA Post Number: 7596 Registered: Dec-03 | well, any dimansions that result in 3cf after driver and port displacement are added in will work. LxWxH for that. as for figuring port length, if you go with a round port, use 6" ID tube, and calculate length to tune for 28Hz. It'll be a fairly long port so a slot-vent may be prefered as you can wrap that around two of the interior walls of the enclosure if need be. www.bcae1.com has calculators for figuring a ported box though. you have all the data you need to plug into the calculators. |
