ok, say i didn't have any dealers in my area for any product, would it be possible to call the company directly and order it from them? i live in a small town and its very hard for me to get high-end stuff. thank god for RE being able to ship the XXX12, but this is a 'just incase' or 'fyi' type of thing incase i come across some components i can't find or can't get in my area. thanks for ANY input.

Here's what I usually do. Research at Crutchfield.com, and in your case where your small town may be remote enough that you _are_ the local car audio expert, forums such as this one. Then head to Ebay to find the best prices. Just make sure the listing states New In Box, 2 reasons... Warranty: these items will carry a manufacturer's warranty... Accountability: if the item is not exactly as advertised, (i.e. carrying OEM warranty) Ebay themselves will fight with the seller to correct the issue if the seller won't at your request.
