Question on how to test a sub

pimpala Unregistered guest	Posted on Friday, April 15, 2005 - 03:53 GMT i have a sub that i think might be blown...however i dont have an amp to hook it up to to test it..are there any other ways to test it...thanks the sub is dual 2 ohm if that matters

You can also gently lift on the back of the cone and if you hear a scratching type noise you're subs as good as shot..
