X.X.X's and Brahma's will both sound great off them. You don't have to run the subs on their max ratings to reach full excursion, 1200 watts would be plenty.

You could also run an ID MAX to it at 2 ohms.

i heard that the x.x.x has a nasty roll off point. does this mean that it cannot produce any higher frequencies? or is this just determined by the box that it is in

subfanatic, i was talking to an installer and he said that the ti needs at least 1500 watts to actually reach it's full xmax, i know you have one so is he correct or can the nine.1 actually make that sub pound, in some of the realmofexcursion videos the ti's aren't even moving and that worries me, but since they don't post the power ratins i'm left with just worries and no answers.

what the hell, that installer is a retard, its rated at 1500 max and 750 rms, but it is severely underrated, in a sealed enaclosure i wouldnt push more than 900 watts to it, but yea if you put it in a nice box it can take 1500 prollly, all subs can take more than they are designed to do, but BS on that 1500 rms, hes an idiot IMO

Yeah, the Ed Nine.1 would match up very nicely to the TI. The Ti is rated at 750 rms, but can take the Nine.1's 900 rms @ 2 ohms.

As for the nasty roll of point of the X.X.X, that's b.s. too.

if the ti can handle it, why not, 1200 watts into the ti would be pretty sick

The nine.1 is underrated by at minimum 10%. I've seen bench tests with them hitting high 14's.
