Cap 1 farad per 1000 watts rms?

I was wondering, I heard 1 farad per 1000 watts. does this mean 1000rms watts? and is what I heard correct?

Yes, it is 1 farad for 1000 watts, but you go by peak ratings on capacitors. Its kind of funny if you think about it, everything is in rms, then when dealing with caps it goes to peak power.
I thought the same thing until someone explained it to me...
