I have 2-8 inch Fosgate HE2 dual voice coil(400watt RMS) subs. If I get a 2 channel amp with 300watt RMS at 2 ohms, will this hurt anything?

As long as the amp doesn't clip the subs won't get hurt.

a good amp can still clip, you just gotta make sure the gains are set right and not maxed and the wireing is of good quality, the right size for your application and connected properly. and that your charging system is suffecient

I have a question, firstly let me start off my saying, i recently bought 2 brand new amplifiers and 4 new subwoofers. the Brand is CUSPID, i never heared of it before, but for the price i thought i would give it a try. Are these CUSPID things any good? please leave me some first or second hand accounts you had with this equipment.
PS- the amplifier is a 4-channel but is 2x80wt RMS, does that make any sense?

Max watts are for 1/10 of a second RMS watts are what you go by when looking for amps and subs. Do you have the RMS watts at 4ohms and 2 ohms for the amps. Are the subs single or dual voice coils and what ohms are they?

Yes, it is. Rule of thumb, you get what you pay for.
