What are your thoughts on 2 10w7's and a 1000/1 in a sloted box. I took the back seat out of my mustang out and was planing on puting them there.

So the 13w7 will give me better sound quality and more spl then the 2 13w6v2's..I thought that they whould sound close but the 13w6v2's should have better SQ right.

yes they will have better sq, but the 1 w7 should get louder, but it would be pretty darn close

just get the w7, the w6v2 is a good sub but iv seen alot of them blown before when people use the 1000/1. the w7 is better quality and can take the power better IMO.

I may stick with 2 13w6v2's cause there 500RMS each. Should run them perfect with the 1000/1

Back to the original question, I would go with the Two w6v213s, your spl would be greater, and the sq would be about equal. The 2w6v213s will push more air at lower volumes, and at sound better when crossed over at say 80hz. I have a lot of customers who have this same exact question. Sound is subjective so try to hear then for your self before you make the 1000 dollar investment. But all of my customer who have purchasd to 2w613s over the one 13w7 are very happy. Hope I helped

Yes, the w7 does have a longer throw and can handle more wattage, but this does not compare to another sub. And since they wont need to throw as long to aquire the same spl as the single w7, sq will be greater or equal. Just be sure to cross them over.
