Gold Member Username: HdubbFarmington, Nm Usa Post Number: 1180 Registered: Nov-04 | well if you look at it, it uses the 4hp motor which also used by tc sounds and the motor loks o be identical so its not a spoof, and no way a custom between a w7 and a sx. it uses a different basket then both and look at the surround, you wont find that on either of them. it is a real sub but the release date keeps getting pushed back. i think they will be around 500 to 600 bucks but dont quote me. |

Whats the use of a subwoofer that gets loud but sounds like crap? Thats like buying an import and taking off the muffler.. yeah its loud but the exhaust tone and backfiring is audibily unappealing. So is a sub just built for SPL. Its loud but who wants to just listen to loud for very long? You will be constantly outdoing yourself trying to get louder. At least get a sub that sounds good that you can enjoy and actually listen to for more that a few minutes becuase its audibily appealing. |

Gold Member Username: HdubbFarmington, Nm Usa Post Number: 1193 Registered: Nov-04 | why not both? there are many subs that can give you both. im sure that the MT isnt near the top of the sq dept. but im sure it sounds a lot better then most spl only subs. and if he had a sound quality sub he would want clearer and more crisp. we are men the only thing we want is more and better. a reason i wouldnt the mt is that it takes too much power to run it, and a big box. i tink that the eclipse ti would give you a good amount of both subf, so stop it. |
