Hey I'm tryin to make my first sub box n im wonderin if i should go wit 3jl 10w3v1's or 2 10's n a 12" in the middle? I would go wit the latter except i heard that havin dif sizes can cancel the sounds. If this is true then ill go with the 3 10's. I'm also wonderin if i should port them or used a sealed box. Im concerned about how much space it will take up cuz i have a mazda millenia n also the ease of buildin it.
Any suggestions would help out alot.
Thanx

yes running diffrent size subs will cause problems.

If this is your first box and your worried about size then go with sealed. They are easer to make, and take up less space.

Ok thanx.
One last question - do u think if i ported 2 subs instead of makin a sealed 3 sub enclosure, then it would be deeper?

depends on the tuning. if u tuned to lets say 28 htz, it would play deeper.
