Anyone have any idea what i should do for 2 12" r's in the back of a jetta? What kind of box would sound the best in there. Its a 1996. I have the subs, but no idea what to do for a box. People are saying a sealed box and others are saying a sealed bandpass.

i have a sealed box for sale for cheap if your interested. but id go with a ported box if your looking for spl or a sealed box if you want more sql. if you wanted to build your own box is build a ported cause you could get the best of both worlds.

i had a jetta ... when u have subs in it .. check ur carpeting on the sides ... the jettas tend to have random bags or some sort of plastic in there that gives off random noise ... I went sealed with mine and it worked very well and still had plenty of trunk space...

Build your own, it is WAY cheaper. All the supplies you'd need would be sub-$30. Search the net for some tutorials and you'll do fine. It's quite easy.
