i have 300 watts rms to work with. what would be the best 12" sub that will work to its full potential given 300 watts? im leaning toward SPL, but some good SQ would be nice too.

He wants to know what sub to buy that will give him the best SPL and I guess he already has a 300 watt amp.

cuz see, i have a RF p3001 amp that does 150watts RMS @ 4ohms, and 300watts RMS @ 2ohms. And right now i have it running a 12" RF punch stage-2 at 4ohms. The sub and amp were a christmas from my dad (who doesnt really know jack about this stuff). so the amp is only doing half of what its capable of. so if i get a V-max, it will be a big improvement from what i have now, right? Also, what about the alpine type-r? How does it compare to the V-max?
