Supposedly the 9500 10" is pretty close to the 10w7, but after that the JL's are better. I say the 10w7 is still better. Go read the mtx website. When are comparing the w7 and the 9500, they are comparing the 10's.

the W7's have far superior control and sq but the 9500's are louder but sound floppy. definally not a sq sub imo.

listen to them and pick the one you like best, or that you can afford
