Does length of the speaker wire have an effect on anything? I'm planning on hooking my amp up under my rear seats and the speaker cables gonna need to be about 3ft long to run from the amp to the box...will this be alright?

I use the wire i got from KnuKonceptz and iv only made cut pieces off to wire them to 1ohm and the rest go stright to the amp. I dont think it matters. its not like the Power and Ground cables. Im 99% sure im right.
