currently im runnin 2 12" VMAX with a JBL 600.1 behind the seat of my 91' GMC reg. cab truck. i was throwin around the idea of doing some custom work and taking out the middle of the seat and making it a 2 seater while having a box in between with one 12" sub. my limit on the sub alone is going to be 500$ or less. i would like to use the JBL 600.1 if i could but if not i can save up another few hundred in a month or so for a different amp. what sub do you suggest and do you think it would be a big improvement over the 2 vegas? has anyone here done this to their truck or know someone who has? feedback would be great. thanks
i met a guy at a local shop here in houston. he had a 2003 chevy single cab with a jl audio 13w7 in a sealed box inbetween the seats. he let me hear it and that one sub sounded better then any single sub i've heard.
