Xover Settings

I upgraded my '04 Altima head unit to a new Alpine CDA-9833 with the i-Personalize.

My question concerns the Xover settings for the following stock speakers.

The rear 6 X 9's (Xover to -3db 80hz 24db/oct)
The front 5-1/4 and tweeters (Xover to -3db 125hz 12db/oct)

If I am correct these Xover settings should prevent distortion?

I do not understand phasing and I do not have a sound meter.

I would like to know if these settings especially the slopes are correct?

that's about where I'd set them myself.

leave phase at -0 (zero)

GlassWolf thanks for the information concerning leaving the phase a -0.

Can you direct me on how to use the 5-Band Parametric EQ?

I can show ya a page on parametric EQs and what they do..
how to set the Alpine's is all in the manual for the unit.
it takes a little fumbling to get used to setting it, but a parametric is set-and-forget.
once it's set you leave it alone.
