From what i have heard, the MT would be louder. Glass and a few others know formula's and stuff and could tell you for sure, but the MT is a very high quality sub and focuses only on SPL, again from what i've heard, and due to its size i think it would be louder.

you basically have to put at least 1500 watts rms minimum through it and it will get very loud......keep in mind that the RE MT can take way more than that, like close to 10,000-15,000 watts and it only gets louder. The MT is very efficient, can take a boat load of power, and has an extremely strong motor...I have an RE MT and it smiles at me when I put 2500 watts rms to it...kinda like saying "that's it?" to me. so you decide what's best for you.
