I dont understand these specs. I am used to seeing the power ratings at different ohms.
What does the last spec mean?
1 ohm stable per channel?
2 ohm stable each channel? How much at 2 ohms per channel?

I think its 125wRMS x 2channels @ 4ohms.
I heard these amps are underrated though, and some reviewers said they ran thier Alpine 12" Type R's with them. I am trying to decide if I should suggest this amp for my friend to buy at the pawn shop for $140 to run (2) 12" Type R's, which I read a review for it to be ok. I am just concerned it will not be enough power. Also wondering why they discontinued this model so soon, or if that should even be a concern in the car audio industry.
Ultimately, will this be enough power for the R's?

Hey LouieV, from the reviews I heard, they're suppose to be pretty good. However, for some odd reason, no one's listing any spec at 2ohms nor 1ohm. That sounds fishy. I know the manufacturer listed 2ohms and 1ohm stereo stable, but even those guys aren't listing it.
This holds true for most amps. If an amp offers 125W @ 4ohms, then at 2ohms, it is around 200-250W, and 400 - 500W @ 1ohm.
I don't like manufacturers that do not list SN ratio, Damping factor, slew rate and THD @ full power.
Zapco, older Orion and PPI amps list them. Without those numbers, it's not easy judging an amp.
I have a Jensen amp that sounds great and can take all kinds of abuses. However, compared to higher end amps, you can hear the difference in sound quality.

Ok I just got this amp today, something happened in the process and I blew a raidio fuse which I replaced. However, my HU (Pioneer deh-25) is STILL NOT WORKING! I am trying to fix this problem now.

Does anyone know about these amps, or more importantly now, might lead me in the direction to get power to my head unit?!?!
